before you start

important note

To ensure that you do not lose any information while in the middle of entering stats, information, etc please make sure that you set your iPhone / iPod touch into airplane mode. Scroll down for easy instructions on how to do this.

If a call comes in while you are using soccercardsks, our app will immediately shut down and all information could be lost. While in airplane mode all calls will go immediately to voicemail and you will be able to work uninterrupted.

Once you are finished with soccercardsks make sure to go back into settings>airplane mode and switch the grey selector back to the off position when you are done using soccercardsks. This will ensure that you will hear and be able to answer all incoming calls. Otherwise, all incoming calls will continue to go straight to voicemail.

turn on airplane mode

  • Click the home button at the bottom of your iPhone / iPod touch.
  • Tap on the settings icon button.
  • Under airplane mode toggle the grey selector from off to on.

turn off airplane mode

  • Make sure you have saved everything.
  • Click the home button at the bottom of your iPhone / iPod touch.
  • Tap on the settings icon button.
  • Under airplane mode toggle the grey selector from on to off.

photo tips

To ensure that your player's photo displays correctly within the card template, please read the following when inserting a photo. When snapping a photo, position the player towards the right side of the frame and not directly in the middle. The info bar graphic appears on the left hand side of frame and will cover up the player. The player's information bar is displayed on the left hand side of the card template and takes up a good amount of room.

ideal - not ideal

taking a photo

  • Only use the iPhone's camera for a portrait or still shot of a player.
  • Use a higher grade camera instead of the iPhone's camera to take an action shot to avoid a blurry image.
  • Leave some empty space on the left hand side of the photo for the player's information bar.
  • This will ensure that the player's image will not be cut off by the card's left side information bar.

selecting a photo

  • Choose a shot where the player is positioned more towards the right side of the frame rather than a shot of the player directly in the middle of the frame.
  • This will ensure that the player's image will not be cut off by the card's left side information bar.
